Ravi is the Managing Director of the Psychology of Technology Institute, a project of the University of Southern California Marshall School’s Neely Center. As a technologist and academic psychologist, his work focuses on improving technology’s impact on society. In his prior role at Meta, he led data science, research and product teams to improve the product’s societal impact. Ravi has coauthored dozens of highly cited empirical articles about individual values, political opinions, polarization and technology. He cofounded and was the initial Chief Data Scientist at Ranker.com.

Kristin Hansen

Kristin is the Executive Director of Civic Health Project, dedicated to accelerating the efforts of academics and practitioners who seek to reduce polarization and improve civil discourse in our citizenry, politics, and media.

In addition to her role at Civic Health Project, Kristin serves on the advisory boards of AllSides, Business for America, and Listen First Project. She also serves as a year-round lecturer in Strategic Communications at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Prior to her current work in civil discourse, Kristin held senior executive roles at Intel, IBM, and multiple start-up software companies. She holds a BA in Political Science and an MA in International Policy Studies from Stanford University, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Lena Slachmuijlder
Search for Common Ground

Lena is the Senior Advisor for Digital Peacebuilding at Search for Common Ground, where she supports and elevates the use of digital tools for conflict transformation across Search’s programs. She has 30 years of experience working for peaceful social change, starting as a journalist with anti-apartheid media in South Africa, and pioneering creative media tools for peacebuilding over the last two decades. She led the design of the Common Ground Approach core curriculum, and published ‘Transforming Violent Extremism: a Peacebuilder’s guide.  Lena is a graduate of Stanford University, an alumni of Amsterdam’s THNK School for Creative Leadership and Brandeis University’s fellowship on Arts and Reconciliation. In 2020, Lena gave a TEDx talk entitled ‘The Vaccine to End War’.
